Intrinsic Distribution Matching: sharper text in fast image generators
Image generators that work in one or two steps get little chance to fix mistakes, so they often get small details in the prompt wrong. The authors add a simple extra rule to the training: match the average and spread of the model's internal features to those of a slowly updated copy of itself.
Why it matters: Faster image generation that still writes text correctly makes these tools cheaper to run.
