Cloudflare and partners port Microsoft's TypeScript compiler to Rust
Developers wait a long time for TypeScript to check their code, and the compiler uses a lot of memory. That makes it hard to run full development setups in small places such as a browser.
tsrs, a faithful Rust port of the TypeScript compiler, built with the TypeScript team, not a fork. Rust compiles well to WebAssembly, so it can run in browsers and sandboxes.
